I am looking for a budget psu with basic features that can give me 5-10 mins of backup so that i can easily shut down my system. The PC is used mainly for heavy gaming. I would also like to know the amount of VA my UPS should have to power the PC in brownouts or complete power-cuts.
My rig has
i5 6402p
8GB DDR4 RAM
msi h110m pro vh mobo
msi rx 480 4gb armor oc edition
fsp raider 650w 80+ silver
1tb wd blue 7.2k rpm hdd X1
benq gw 2470h 24 inch LED monitor

no fancy rgb led's or anything of that sort is added to the system.

To put this in perspective, I overshot purchasing a APC 1500VA rated for 800watts on a 1000w psu that was probably never placed under full load. The ups load never increased more than one bar. I'm no expert, but you'd probably be fine with half the power of the 1500va.

so if i go with a 1000-1100 VA UPS, would that be suffecient? If yes, could you please link me some so that i can check 'em out.
