Hey ! I have Dell Optiplex 780 with 4 GB Ram and 64 mb Vram and Windows 10. I want to increase my Vram to 512 mb or 256 mb. I have watched many videos till now but their BIOS and my BIOS are different.
My BIOS doesn't let me change system memory and all and it's like white in colour. What to do now?? Pls tell so that I can really change my vram.BTW My BIOS version is A15.

Solution
that will not help in a performance much if that is your goal, but OEM PC sometimes just dont have good bios (all locked), try to update bios if its possible and try then. but if your Bios doesnt have that option then probably it isnt possible. OEM mobos usualy are made for one task, one setup and dont have many options, it made to remove cost from the PC.

In any event, allocating more system RAM to graphics means less available for Windows & applications, so your just shifting the performance problem from one area to another, especially with only 4GB RAM to play with.

A low-end graphics card with 1GB or 2GB VRAM is the way to go.

Are you looking for a way to increase your VRAM? The best way to increase your video RAM is to buy an external graphics card. This graphics card is used when your computer runs with integrated graphics that is poor in performance. You may see wonders in video output when you upgrade to a dedicated card.
Increase your dedicated VRAM in the following method. First, adjust the VRAM allocation on your computer’s BIOS. Restart your computer and press <F2> key to enter into BIOS. Select Advanced Chipset Features under the BIOS screen. Open Graphics Settings or Video Settings based on the options available. The default memory allocated to the GPU is 128MB. You can adjust the memory up to 256MB to 512MB according to your preference. Confirm whether you have enough space on your computer to spare.
