Looking for a Widescreen Monitor w/ this setup

Hello,

I currently have a Compaq laptop that I play World of Warcraft on religiously! Id like to invest in a new Desktop PC. Here is what Im thinking of purchasing:

Now I need a monitor... Id like widescreen and 17 to 20 inches... My budget is small but around $500 or so. Im a gamer so keep that in mind.

Check out the Dell FPW2005 or 2005FPW (whatever way the letters go...) It's a 20in. widescreen. Several people who frequent these boards have one and love it, and they say ghosting is non-existant or minimal. It should be under 500 - maybe even 400 if you can afford to wait until a good deal comes up.

Can I suggest a couple changes to your system?

Don't get the SLI mobo unless you're going to do SLI. Chaintech makes a great board for around $75, the Chaintech VNF4 (sometimes with /Ultra). Not quite as cheap but still a good board is Epox (the 9npa series). Don't know much about eVGA mobos, but I like them as a video card company, so its probably a good board, just more than you may need.

Is gaming performance the reason you're getting an X2? If so, you'll probably get better performance from a single core 3700+ for less $.

Plenty of PSU. I like seeing that. You could even drop back to around 450w if price is important, but stick to quality brands like Enermax, Fortron, Antec, etc.

Why 2G of RAM? (Curious - very few games need it today).
