OK, so here's the scoop, I'm going to college so and i need a laptop. I really want a gaming laptop. I have been working for quite a while so i got a decent amount of cash to spend about $1600 a bit more if really is something nice. Now here's my issue i am EXTREMELY obseesed with CPU and GPU temps, i built my gaming PC, a few mounths ago and its liquid cooled. I never ever like to see it go above 60 degrees. I get kinda nervous. I know 90 is "OK" but i feel thats way to hot for a electronic device to get. Now my problem is i want a gaming laptop and they get f***ing toasty. I really really want the HP omen 15. I love the way it looks and the cooler seems to be good for its size. Should i be worried about temps this bad? Can temps make the computer die much faster? Also if you have any good suggestions it would be appreciated. BTW i looked at some of the ROG laptops and they are heavy, not that i cant carry them.. just seems like they would get annoying to carry. HP omen 4.4Lbs <3 SOMEONE HELP ME!:pt1cable: :??:
Thanks for your time

I would recommend staying away from thin laptops as they have poor cooling and heat dissipation. I have heard/seen the alien-ware laptops since bought out buy dell have become crap but i cant verify that(its all over user review online). i dont know what screen size you want but i can recommend a few laptops for you:

1. Acer Aspire V17 Nitro Black Edition @ $950 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834314820
2. Aorus X3-CF1(Looks) @ $1200- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834233057
3. MSI GS Series GS70 Stealth Pro-097 @ $1750( i know bit higher on price, you can look around for better deal) - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834152682
4. GIGABYTE P35Wv3-CF3 @$1470 -...
Gaming laptops that give you 2nd degree burns are a thing of the past. Nvidias maxwell architecture pared with a 5th gen intel mobile cpu will run nice and cool. With your budget, I would get something with a gtx 970m and an i7 5700HQ. Personally, I prefer msi because of their reliability. Its really up to you. It sounds to me like you want something portable and light. This msi GS60 weighs only 4.2 Ibs and packs some lightning fast hardware.

I would say the auros is the best option as they have a 17 inch model which has very good cooling but I don't know if it is within your price range. This laptop is light for a 17 incher, has good cooling and should be able to handle all the games at decent settings.

Otherwise look at the msi ge range. Stay away from the apache and ghost range as they will get hot very quickly.

The hp omen that you suggested is not good as its cooling is not good as other brands.
