I was thinking of adding more GPUs as upgrades for future proofing.
Does the MB that you listed allow graphics to be used from the CPU? I may want to get most of the system up and add the GPUs a bit later.
I had not considered multiple monitors, but that would fit in line with the multiple GPU design and I am seriously considering it now. The link to the first monitor suggestion doesn't work: could you re-post it?
The Corsair h60 liquid CPU cooler looks very nice. Installation looks like it would be pretty straight forward. Do you have experience installing these and how easy/hard is it?
All in all some very interesting suggestions. I believe that the i5 CPU will probably be sufficient as you mentioned. I was on the fence about this until your suggestion.
