1. What is your budget?
Up to $1200 but I would prefer to spend closer to $500
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
No smaller than 13" but preferably 15".
3. What screen resolution do you want?
1920x1080 (high refresh rate would be nice)
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable. My last laptop was purchased in 2015 and I only use it when on vacation or travelling so it is only used a handful of times a year.
5. How much battery life do you need?
5 hours or more would be fine.
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
Yes. Last Epoch would be a good game to use at the moment. I would be fine medium to high settings.
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Nothing hardware intense.
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
512 GB should be plenty (prefer 1 TB)
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.
I'm not considering anything yet. I've seen a handful of decent options but I'm looking for a solution to the issue that I had with my previous laptop; specifically the start up issue. I can't stand how long it takes to load up.

8-10 years.
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
Don't need any of that.
12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.

The main things I'm looking for is something that will last a long time, isn't extremely sluggish after long periods of inactivity, and is powerful enough to play some games with decent quality.
