Looking for advice on a wide format color printer for business

I'm looking to replace the CFO's wide-format color printer. The current unit is an HP Officejet 7110, but we've had no end of headaches with it. The problem is that it is used only infrequently, so during long periods of disuse, the inkjet cartridges would clog or leak, causing errors, messes, and requiring regular replacements.

My number one goal here is to find something reliable, where periods of disuse won't break it. It should handle 13x19 printing in color. Perfect hi-res photo quality is not necessary, as these are for charts, maps, etc.

Using the format in the sticky thread:

1. What is your printer budget? What is your country of origin?
- I'd like to keep it around/under $1000, but this may be flexible. Located west-coast USA.

4. How many pages do you print per day?
- 10-20 pages every month or two. Herein lies the main problem. There's long periods of downtime between uses, and the old inkjet printer would dry/clog or leak when left unused for extended periods.

5. Do you want your printer to perform other functions (scanning / copying / fax)?
- Nope

6. Preferred website for printer (eg Newegg / Tiger Direct, etc)?
- CDW, but anywhere is acceptable

7. Do you want your printer to have WiFi capability?
- Unnecessary

8. Do you want your printer to have full color or black and white?
- Full color. Photo quality not required; this is for charts and maps.

9. How much do you currently spend on ink/toner?
- Between the leaking and drying/jamming, this was needing replacements almost every time it printed. Anything is an improvement.

10. Do you print high quality or high resolution documents or photographs?
- Yes, but quality is negotiable

Don't mess with inkjet IMO. Color laser. HP CP5225n

11x17 and the entire office can use it because it will be on the network.
