I want to build a new pc for around $2000-$3000. This includes monitor, keyboard, and os. Thins is a list I have come up with for 1440p ultrawide 120 hz gaming. I’ve fallen In love with the o11 dynamic look and already have a 1 tb ssd so a small m.2 will do.Looking for advice or potentially a new part list,

Looking to fit a custom loop into the budget but not sure how to get it in there without sacrificing performance.
Ek velocity
Ek 2080 block
D5 pump combo
Tubing
Fittings
2 radiators

Hello,

Personal opinion here, but I would personally hold off on picking Intel until after AMD shows what they have at CES in a few days. It is rumored they are revealing CPU's which may out perform even the i9-9900k for a much lower price.

With that said, your best bet for water cooling would be to looking at one of the EK Kits, it will have all the tubing, fittings and blocks you need except for a proper drain system which you can just get a T Fitting and Ball Valve. I don't think the Kits come with a GPU Block for the 2080 so you can get the kit with just the CPU Block, Tubing and pump and add the 2080 block to your order.

If you are looking to cut some costs from your current build to allow for the Custom loop, you don't need to have 9 fans, you can just have 6, 3 for each 360 radiator you are adding. You also could cut the M.2 SSD since you already have a 1 TB SSD. These 2 things alone will save you over 200$ to put towards your Liquid Cooling.

I would also refine your search for motherboards and see if you will use all the features in the 200$ board you chose. Often if you know exactly what features you are looking for you can get a less expensive motherboard with all the features you need and then some as well.
