Right so around 2 months ago now I ordered a motherboard from an European on line shop called AZ-Europe, they had mixed reviews but it was the only place that I could find the motherboard that I wanted so I gave it a shot. Anyway long story short, they never even dispatched it and so I requested a full refund which they said that they would "process". The last time they replied to an email must have been around 2-3 weeks ago and I haven't seen a penny of my money back. Obviously I want all of my money back, but I don't know how exactly to go about it. Surely they owe me the money, and if I were to take any legal action there would be no question that it's rightfully mine? I just don't understand why they are taking so long? Do refunds usually take this to properly process or is it likely that they're messing me around? Any advice would be great! Thanks in advance guys!
any reputable company should not keep you waiting like that. most companies would issue a refund in such cases within a few days at most and some even will do it automatically if they can not process the order.
if they failed to ship the item then a refund should be issued immediately. it sounds like either A) a very poor company with poor customer service or B) a sham.
i'm not in europe so i cannot help with any legal information.
you can try legal action but it may be a difficult path to get your money back. if you had used a credit card you may try a stop payment on the order but i'm not sure how long ago you made the purchase.
