Hello back at the end of 2015 I purchased a PC and added a GPU the specs are:

Intel Core i5 4430 3.0GHZ

Gigabyte GTX 960 2GB Mini-ITX

Gigabyte H81M-S2PV Motherboard

8GB DDR3 1600Mhz HyperX Ram

128GB Sandisk SSD Z400s

500GB Seagate HDD

500W 80 Plus EVGA PSU

Windows 10 Pro

Too be honest i have been pretty happy with the performance but I am thinking of upgrading as I would like to play PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds and newer games and don't think what I have at the moment is powerful enough.

Anyhow what I want to know is should I just maybe upgrade my GPU to something like a 1060 and maybe add some more ram or would I be better off with a new Motherboard and CPU and new GPU etc and just keep the PSU and ram etc.

Not sure what to do? As for money not sure yet but let's say £300-500

Tbh I was gonna say GPU upgrade.
That 960 is starting to show it's age, an i7 4790 upgrade can go in too, as well as potentially another 8GB of RAM.
What's your current RAM?
1x8GB or 2x4GB?
I know you can't OC, but the 4790k and a cheap air cooler worked out to less than a non-k.

Thank you, I think it's 2x4GB at the moment the i7 upgrade sounds like a good idea or do you think I would be better off starting over with a Ryzen build is there any advantage to that ?
