As we we all know ,MicroSD cards of 2TB capacity dont exist and are Very expensive .

I am trying to find a SATA to SD interface Bridge controller. does it exist?

I want to use a standard 2.5 HD on the microSD slot .

Something like this (I edited emmc Card reader photo Just to show what I am looking for , the bridge chip would be there in the back if such device exists)

True , That pic is not a design , just made it so people understand what I need.

any such adapter exists ? I need it badly. found SATA EMMC Socket .. Which means the bridge chip already exists (SD cards use EMMC ) . but failed to find SATA to SD adapter ...

SD to USB3 card readers exist . and SATA to USB3 exist as well , The bridge chip does the work.
SD to SATA can happen in theory using the right Bridge chip.

but you are right , no one seems making such an adapter.

Ypunwpuld never obtain the bandwidth/throughput required to successfully run a hard drive through even a sdxc enabled sd port.
Hard drives require simultaneous i/o & a microsd connection cannot handle that bandwidth .

Even tried to copy from & to a msd card at the same time simultaneously ??
I have , transfers would be down to 1.5mbs or so & completely unuseable.

The SD interface itself is not low bandwidth. the low bandwidth comes from the EMMC technology.

Anyways , I need the Adapter for Storage , not for High I/O file transfers.

The device I am working on does not have USB or any I/O other than the SD card slot.

So, in your copious reasearch, you've not found an adapter for tis. Correct?

That says that it is A) not possible, or B) not marketable possible.

Actually I am asking around all forums for this adapter , and I only got out of topic replies here in Tomshardware.

The Question is clear . does it exist or not.

The question here is not : why it does not exist.

I found a way to make it happen .

EMMC socket TO SATA exists. SD cards have EMMC chips on them, by looking at the pinout and the SD card Layout , I can do my own board. Got this help from a professional Site.
