I'm fixing my uncle's PC. The problem is, that its CPU, Athlon 64 X2 6000+ is overheating (idle at ~45C, crashes at ~63C), there were Win7 x64, but he had 2GB of ram. I installed new Win7, but now x86. Didn't helped that much. I decided, that's the CPU. So, what would be a good CPU (don't need hexa, quad would be good,maybe?)? He plays a lot of new games, watches movies. PC is on, for about 24/7.

ASrock N68C-GS FX
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ (no OC) with stock AMD heatsink
2GB of DDR2 RAM
Asus GT640-2GD3
450W PSU.
