Looking for an around $250 144Hz monitor

I'm looking for a $250 or lower 144Hz 1080p monitor. I've been using an old 1600x900 monitor for far too long. I have two different R9 270x's that I run in crossfire, they are these two: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202063

I use an HDMI cable to connect to my monitor currently. I mostly play League of Legends so I don't think I'll really have an issue with keeping my frames up.

The Asus V248QE is probably your best choice even though it is a bit above your budget.

The best 144Hz 1080p 24" monitor is indeed VG248QE but that one from BenQ is not bad.
To get 144Hz 1080p, you need either DVI-D or Display-Port, depends on the monitor connectivity.

Asus V248QE definitely. It's what I'm using, Witcher 3 looks amazing. & games that I can push 144fps+ in like Insurgency and CS GO shine.
