I'm trying to setup my audio in a specific way and I was wondering if you wonderful people might be of help.
I have a desktop with a Rampage V Extreme (7.1 Analog and Optical). My audio devices are a Razer Leviathan (Speakers) via Optical, a pair of Razer Tiamat 7.1 (Headphones) via Analog and a Samsung (TV) via HDMI. System is running Windows 10 x64 with the latest correct Realtek drivers.
What I would like to do is have ALL of my outbound audio go to all 3 devices at all times. I need the headphone audio to be 7.1 but the speaker and TV audio gets DOWN MIXED to stereo.
I can get audio to go to my headphones and using the "Stereo Mix" the same audio is produced on the , the biggest problem there is that the audio that is being copied is not only noticeably delayed but will often (almost always) not play audio correctly because it's trying to play audio through speakers that do not exist (7.1 audio to a 2.0 setup)
I will not accept "just change the output device in windows to wherever you want the audio to go". That does not solve my problem.
