Looking for an Old Game Title PC

I am looking for the title of an Old SCI-FI Space tank game. you part part of some rebel faction and you went around to different planets to take them over. once on the planet you would drive around in your tank and take over enemy bases by destroying all of their structures and then calling in your own. the first structure that had to be built was Turret type of building then you make factories for re-enforcements. you could also scale your tanks abilities in a triangle by selecting either higher Speed, Higher Armor, or higher weapon power. that's all i can remember from the game if anyone out there can put a title to it thanks.

Hmm, sounds oddly familiar...

You could try searching on the abadonware sites (like freeoldies), they list games by genre and year etc, might turn up there.
