Hey all, Looking for an old pc game that i played as a kid.
It was an adventure/story/puzzle game that was set in ancient Egypt. I don't think you ever saw yourself and you moved from area to area. each area had sub-areas. I don't remember to many of the areas. one was a maze like area in a marsh, i think you chased a guy into there, you find him i think. you also find 2 blue jewels. Theres a market area somewhere as well where you can make papyrus paper... You also help build a pyramid at some point, you send workers up a ramp with either wood rollers, water, oil, or a stone block. I do remember completing the pyramid. You also played the game of senet(a game of sticks with dots...) at some point.

The game would have come out in the mid to early 1990's. Probably before 97, since that's the year that i think i played it.

I don't know the game you're talking about, but www.gog.com is a great place to find old games. You might be able to find it by looking at some of the box art there. Good luck!

Hey all, still looking for this game, although ive remembered a few more things about it.
Here is what I remember:
1. The Eye of Horus is the main cover of the box, i think the rest of the box was grey outside of the games name.
2. you chase a man into a marsh where you eventually find 2 blue jewels.
3. you make your own papyrus paper inside of a market area where you can do other things. (i might be wrong but i believe you also make or get 2 clay jars that can hold things like water...)
4. you play the game of senet at a dock on the river nile.
5.it came out pre 2000
6. you build a pyramid by sending slaves up the ramp with wooden rollers, jars of water, jars of oil, or stone blocks.
7. there is a mini game to attach the top triangular stone to the top of the pyramid.
8. you have to edit the pharoe's wife's speech ( i think its hers...)

Any one know this game? or any other good places to look for it?

YES I remember this game and especially the jars and the papyrus making stuff so vividly and building the pyramid. I LOVED this game as a kid. I have also been searching for it but can't seem to find it anywhere. It was called something really obvious I think like Pyramid or Egypt, but I can't remember. Please let me know if you find out!

Yea that is definitely the same game and I have a super vivid memory of having to pull the brain out through the nose. How do none of us remember the name of this!?!

Just saw this and thought someone might be able to help with another game.

The one I'm thinking of was about in the 1990's. It was an ancient egypt based game. You started as an archaeologist in modern times, digging for artefacts. When you found something, you had to change tool so as not to ruin the artefact. One would send you back to ancient egypt, where you would have to try and find your way home.

A bit vague I know, but can anyone remember this one?

I just bought this game at Goodwill but can't get it to run on my PC, it's too new. It's called Pyramid Challange of the Pharaoh's Dream. It's a Mcgraw Hill Home Interactice game c.1996 for Windows 3.1 or 95. It talks about building Pyramids, making Papyrus, lowering a sacophagus, finding true north, trading with merchants to get things you need, etc. It might be the game you are looking for. GB
