win7hp and win8.1 can be had for around 99 very often. i went with win8.1 cuz i can't fathom paying identical money for 5-year-old / last-generation OS (esp since you'd not be getting win7pro)

I thought windows 8 cant run some of the older games? My new build im re buying win7. I love it
