I want to upgrade my current rig to be able to at least play modern warfare with ease.
I'd like to keep it under €350 if possible. I'd prefer to upgrade GPU and CPU first.

Current CPU: AMD FX-8350
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti 4GB
RAM: DDR3 8GB
Motherboard: GA-78LMT-USB3 (rev. 6.0)
PSU: Cooler Master 500W
Cooler: Scythe Mugen 5 PCGH Edition

Thanks in advance!

Solution
You can't upgrade you CPU without new mobo and DDR4...
well i don't know prices around you but...
Ryzen 5 3600 (X if its not that expensive 170-200EU ).
Some B450 Mobo ( Good B450 - 80 - 100EU depends where do you live)
Ram DDR4 16GB (70-80EU)

And there is no money for GPU, you have to play with that one for now...
Different upgrade will be useless, because after a year you have to upgrade again.

Agree, the biggest issue is the cpu especially on that motherboard which is not good for 125w CPU’s. You need to look at a cpu/motherboard/RAM upgrade. Also you can look at the Ryzen 3300, while not as good as the 3600 it does very well in games and should save you €50.

Hey Jappie o/

Seems the sale ended rather fast, lol. People spam buy it? xD
Motherboard Asus Prime B450-PLUS 24£ HOT SALE! 70% off
Alternative Motherboard Asrock B450 Pro4 80£
CPU AMD Ryzen 3300X 138£
RAM 16 GB Kingston 3200MHz 68£
GPU Gigabyte 1070 8GB Vram 104£

For a total of 334£(390£ with alternative motherboard)

GTX 1070 & Modern Warfare FPS

At that price for the motherboard, I'd just suggest to replace it whenever the time comes for an upgrade. The 3300X will see you well into the future, as for the graphics card the 3300X can feed a GPU enough frames to support up to a 2070 Super and mayhaps a little higher.

Tank for all the replies!
I can't seem to find that GTX 1070 for 104 :/

So what can I expect to actually be spending if I choose not to upgrade my gpu?

220£ - 250£ is what I'd spend to have an up to date CPU and a decent motherboard.

You'd still have to upgrade the GPU though, it will struggle quite a bit with Modern Warfare.

If you can find an RX 580 at a decent price, it will comfortably run MW at 1080p High.
