Looking for Articles showing impact of > 2GB VRAM at 2560x1600

Hello;

I'm searching for some articles specific to vid cards with > 2GB of RAM and the effect at a resolution of 2560x1600.

I thought I read somewhere that Nvidia's bandwidth really limits it's use of extra ram, but I can't seem to find anything specific yet.

Yes google is my friend but I'm becoming mired in testing on resolutions > 2560. (tri-panel resolutions for example)
