Looking for assistance in memory choice.

OCZ Reaper HPC Edition 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 Link

OCZ 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) SLI Link

I have decided those are my official two choices. If they are the same EPP profiles and the same Chips I am gonna go with the reapers being as I have awesome linear air flow right over the top of my memory.

But if the SLI will perform better then I'll go that route.

The specs are identical PC8500, 1066 mhz with 5-5-5-15 timings. The only difference is the amount of voltage needed to achieve those numbers. 2.3 for the Reaper and 2.1 for the SLI version. The cheaper, lower voltage rated kit looks fine if I were making a choice. Especially if you have a MB that will not adjust up to 2.3 volts.

Evga 8800gts 640mb

I can easily do the 2.3v. Just trying to decide which would perform better.

Don't know if both chips run it but I was told the nvidia SLI ones run the micron chip.
