Looking for best graphics card for around $150

I am currently building my son a mid tier gaming pc. I can use some help picking a graphics card for it in the $150 range. Current built listed below any recommendations for card would be appreciated and he is into FPS games like Call of Duty if that helps. Thanks

Thanks for replying..... I was looking at either an r7 260x or a GTX for the Nvidia Shield compatibility in the same performance and price range so thanks for the help.....I'm going with the GTX 750ti. Thanks again

You should totally go with an R9 270 or 270X they drop price around this year to 150 with a mail in rebate to put it to 130. plus you can crossfire it later.

Or an AMD 270x which are better GPU's than the 750ti.

As suggested above, if you can go a little higher than the $150 mark a GTX760 would perform infinitely better than a 750TI. This MSI card is $170 on newegg.

Otherwise at the $150 price you are better off getting an AMD 270X for $150. They also come with some free games as well right now. Might be a good buy.

The 750Ti doesn't really perform anywhere near a GTX760 or AMD 270X

R9 270 > 660 > 750TI.
The R9 270X is an 270 but not overclocked.
X , TI , Z , are overclocked versions of the original, if you know how to oc the gpu then just get the original.
270 , 270X , 650 , 650TI , TITAN , TITAN Z

R9 270X is an oc of the original 270.
An X , TI , Z is most likely an over clock.
650 , 650TI , TITAN , TITAN Z.
