Looking for better choice for budget

Im on a tight budget guys...pls tell me which choice is better...i3 8100 with gtx 1060 6gb variant or i5 8400 with gtx 1060 3gb variant...im pissed off between these two choices
I know i5 8400 Is much capable CPU than i3 8100 but with i5 8400 I can get gtx 1060 3gb...which is not future proof but if I'll take i3 8100 along with gtx 1060 6gb variant ...then I guess I'll be future proof

Hi yes , I would defenetly take the future proof in option, however it all depends.
Do you plan on upgrading a lot during the future?
If you plan on further upgrading your rig and keeping it for a long time defenetly 8100.
What kind of games do you run?
If it's got intensive like most games I would take the 1060 6gb , however on the rare occasion you play CPU intensive games , I would still take the i3 8100 as it should still be ok , and can be upgrades for the future.

You'll likely be looking at a GPU upgrade before a CPU upgrade depending on your resolution so the 1060 6gb would probably be the better option for longevity.
You could always buy an 8700 in a few years.
