I need some build advice for selecting a graphics card and monitor to finish off this rig.
I have ordered the following parts:
https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/chrisbek/saved/fnb2xr
I only want to really play games on this pc at 1080p. Maybe at 1440p down the road.
I am trying to select a graphic card that won't bust the bank and will suit my needs.
The only games I would probably play on this rig are Cyberpunk, Farcry 6, Resident Evil the Village, CS:GO and any first person demanding shooter.
Other then that the rig would be used for casual internet browsing, email, youtube.
Ideally I would like to get a 3080 graphics card for this rig and call it a day but here in canada the cheapest I can find is roughly about $1000 and only goes up from there. I just don't know if a 3080 is overkill for what I am doing.
I have been looking at some graphics cards. I have no idea if they would be any good for this rig and what I want to do but here is what I am considering:
1) PowerColor Red Devil RT 6650 XT $550.00 CAD https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B09VYG2JTL/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB&psc=1
2) EVGA GeForce RTX 3060 XC GAMING $549.98 https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=43_557_559&item_id=189460
Also is there any monitor that someone could suggest.
Ideally I would like to spend $200 to $400 for a monitor and $500 to $600 for a graphics card.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
