Looking for build advice

Well, my altoholism has struck again. I am currently playing a D3, and have
decided to roll up something that is more useful when I want to go on a
killing spree. Have settled on a Claws/SR scrapper. Here is my planned
build for the first 16 levels or so. Any suggestions/comments??

Slot[01] Level 1 (Starting Primary) : Strike /Empty
Slot[02] Level 1 (Starting Secondary) : Focused Fighting /Empty
Slot[03] Level 2 : Focused Senses /Empty
Slot[04] Level 4 : Agile /Empty
Slot[05] Level 6 : Slash(Claw) /Empty
Slot[06] Level 8 : Combat Jumping /Empty
Slot[07] Level 10 : Practiced Brawler /Empty
Slot[08] Level 12 : Follow Up /Empty
Slot[09] Level 14 : Super Jump /Empty
Slot[10] Level 16 : Dodge /Empty

Don't take Agile here. You're going to be slowed without a second
attack, and the toggle you took is more than good enough for now.

Unless you're Mutant origin, and have to spend your formative
years fighting Vahzilok, don't take any ranged defense at all
until later. You won't miss it.

Don't slot your passives defenses early.

You don't seem to have enough offense. Good move skipping Swipe,
but I think you need Spin. For me, it's because having nothing
but single-target options bores me to no end, pun not intended.

Is that the origin that gets all of the Vahz missions?? I haven't really
payed any attention to the missions/origin connections. Thanks for the
info.

I was planning on waiting until I got DOs before I started slotting them. I
don't thing that TOs make much of a difference unless it is damage or
accuracy, IIRC.

How is this refined build. It is more offense-oriented (by 2 attacks) and
close-melee oriented.

I am not sure how much end this build will take, but I suspect that because
it is pretty toggle-heavy, I will need to make my way up the Stamina line.
As for the power pools, I am not sure which other ones I am going to take.
Probably not going to go the hasten/SS route because of quickness. Might
take the stealth pool for the +def I can get.

I had heard that Science was the Vaz origin and Mutant was the Lost origin.
It doesn't really matter that much because everyone gets to fight a lot of
Vaz anyway.

I actually managed to get my Mutant origin FF/Eng Defender up to level
21 taking only 3 Vahz missions (not counting other people's. I just
ignored the contacts that tried to send me on them.

Since I did all those story arcs with my tanker the first time through,
I'm not really missing them. I hate Vahz.

That build looks much more fun to me, and strong enough to
withstand most things. SR damage mitigation just stinks for such
a long time. I know I always felt like Mr. Paper against anything
+1 or more to me. It's evil that they made your "Focus Chi" power
need to make a to-hit roll, but it's good that you can use it so
often.

FF and FS definitely slurp endurance, at 0.38 e/s each. Together
they cut your endurance supply by about 47%. Stamina or fiddly
management is required.

Stealth is a good idea. They'll have to nerf that power some day.
