Question Looking for cases similar to the Corsair 280X

Hello!

My current system: PC Part Picker

The reason I am looking for a new case is because I'm getting a third replacement of the Corsair 280X on Wednesday - both times the screw got stuck on the sockets for the side panel and I had to snap it off to get my components out. Either I am underestimating my strength when securing the side panel by hand or the socket the screw goes in isn't great for wear and tear.

Looking for a case similar in dimensions [link for the dimensions]. The important dimension is the length: 39.8cm (round it to 41cm to include the protrusion). Height and depth doesn't really matter.

Needs:
  • Length of 41cm or less (where the side panel will be is parallel to the keyboard)
  • Side panel that isn't the same as the 280X (like a chamber for the threading and not a 3mm thin sheet of metal where the threads wear off after 10 unscrews).
  • Side panel that is see through for all that RGB from my H100i. Reallly mainly for a visual indication of my CPU temperatures
  • Fit the RM750x
  • Fit the 240mm H100i radiator and as an exhaust (only the former if orientation doesn't really matter)
  • mATX
  • 1x SSD slot
Not important but would be nice to have:
  • Tempered glass
  • Filters for all fan exhausts and intakes
  • Includes a fan hub
  • Good cable management layout
  • White case - to continue my black and white theme
Basically my table looks like this: link. If the above is not plausible with that length restriction, I could always shunt everything to the left making a depth requirement of 39cm maximum (where the side panel will be is perpendicular to the keyboard).

Currently I am looking at the ThermalTake Core V21 [link]. Substantially cheaper and looks like it can hold everything I currently have and smaller. However, I am not sure what the cons are for this case.

Budget is £140 if I can get a refund for my case from Amazon and the replacement case suffers from the same issues i had twice already.

I was considering replacing the screws with some sort of magnet mechanism. But will need to research that a bit more if I go down that route.

Due to your build, you have access to pretty much every matx chassis that's out there. I would however like to stress that if you want the business side of things to be facing you, then you need look into a single windowed side panel chassis. Chamber designs would be moot since your matx build can be accomplished in a chassis like the DarkFlash DLM21/22.

By length, you're referring to the height of the chassis, correct? If that's the case, then you also have the Deepcool Macube 110.

So looking at these dimensions: link
I would've assumed: 398x280x351(LxWxH). I can get a proper picture tomorrow of how I place it when my replacement arrives, hopefully.

I was thinking about the DarkFlash DLM21/22 but I think it's a US product only.

Wow. The Deepcool Macube 110 is really cheap haha. Didn't expect that.

Another one I was eying up was the Phanateks: link. However, the RGB will be useless since my mobo, I believe, doesn't have RGB pins.

Is there bad cases I should avoid?
