Looking for compatibility

I bought a Nvidia gtx 970 is it compatible with HP elite 8200...will love to get an HP elite 8200, so I love to know if they are compatible, don't want to risk buying, something I would have to regret

Depends on the form factor....if it's a full tower, you're probably ok. If it is one of those slim/thin cases, probably not compatible...

Many of HP's prebuilts are rather smallish/thin, and might come with inadequate PSUs as well...

If you are talking about the tower case not one of the small-form-factor models it would fit. But, it is not immediately compatible because that HP won't come with a good enough power supply. So you would also need to have someone upgrade that for you (or do it yourself). Also some HPs come with non-standard power supplies, meaning you won't be able to upgrade the PSU. In those systems the fastest graphics card you and put in it is a 1050ti.
