im wiring my room for ethernet as wifi is just way slower. Im looking for a drill bit that can go through both wood and stone wall. Im assuming a 12inch bit will be needed? and if 12inch is overkill, just to be safe..... also a 1inch diameter. Budget $25 for a drill bit

You don't use "a" drill bit for stone and wood.
You use a regular bit for the wood, and a masonry bit for the stone. Assuming, of course, you have a hammer drill to go through the stone.

1" dia hole through stone needs a really good hammer drill. I have one. Do you? And probably more than one bit. 0.5" to start, then the 1".

Need more info to give a good answer.
Type of stone? thickness of stone?
If thin veneer sandstone you can get by with a cheap bit and drill.
If 6-8 inch thick granite you will definitely need a SDS hammer drill and bit.
If the cable you are running has the ends already attached you can get by with a 5/8 inch bit for one cable in the hole.
If it does not have ends already attached 1/4 inch bit will work for one cable.
