Looking for driver help

So i recently uninstalled IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers drivers in the device manger in attempted to fix a problem with mouse lag and sound stuttering it did help with that but now the drivers don't seem to be reinstalling themselves like they Should be and my computer has become really slow to the point where I have to post this using my phone. Any help you can give me to try and relief this problem will be much appreciated. Thank You

if it an intel mb using the older z77 chipset and older use the intel chipset drivers version 9x. if there newer use version 10x. from intel web page. if there amd chipset download there drivers from amd web page. the last is via or nvidia chipset. you have to download the drivers from there web pages.
