Question Looking for external SSD and SATA device

I am looking for a device that will take a SSD and a sata disk and connect to a laptop and a desktop, I have a plethora of disabled laptops, and would like to pull the SSD and sata drives out of them and use them for a backup solution. The backups would be primarily C:/ drive, to recover the frequent windows death.

The backup I would like to do is windows backup, but not to one-drive, if that is possible.

Another possibility would be some form of NAS, so I could do the backups from two machines to the same media,

I have a few such cases holding older SSD drives.

There are also similar Ethernet enclosures that can be used. More expensive.

Just google "drive enclosures" along with whatever other criteria you require.
