Looking for feedback on how this desktop would do with arma 3 and if there is something that I could improve or switch out.

First thing I'll suggest is getting rid of the "Standard" PSU, an on-line search for "CyberPowerPC standard PSU" may be enlightening (probably not inspiring though). The CoolerMaster V550 and XFX TS550 are good options there
Second, trade the Core i7-4790k for an i5-4690k or 4670k since the additional cores offered by hyper-threading don't show any real advantage for gaming. While you can game with it and it won't hurt to have it (can even help with bragging rights) there isn't a whole lot of benefit there.
The rest of it looks to be very nice for gaming and I'd expect very high performance from it

Would 500 Watts be enough power for this setup I also changed the graphics card to a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4GB GDDR5 PCIe 3.0 x16 and switched to an i5-4690k
