Hey, First time building a PC I'm going to be ordering all my parts within the next two weeks and would love to get some feedback on the build. Wondering if it'll perform how I expect it to. I plan to be running games in 1080p, and getting 80-100 fps in just about all games maxed out. I will tweak the settings if needed to get to that range if needed, but I aim to be nearly still maxed out.

The build : http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/jYM6TW

The Z170 Motherboard and no 'K' processor is because when I get more funds, I plan to upgrade to a i5-6600k/6700k in the near future, water cooling, and also a higher end GPU. Like a 980ti. At that point a PSU upgrade may be in order.

So, anyone have some thoughts on the build? Anything wrong with it?

Solution
If you skip the expensive keyboard you can get a better build now. The i5-6500 will perform well for gaming and you can skip the Z170 board. 8GB memory is enough for a gaming system. Add the 980 ti now with a good quality power supply from EVGA made by Super Flower. Adding a bit more memory later on will cost far less than a new CPU and you won't be needing liquid cooling with all the hassle that comes with it. Consider the S340 case which has plenty of room for your build. For almost the same money you have the 980 ti now.

Hmm, good points. However, the 980ti is very expensive at the moment. With the new GPU's (Pascal/Polaris) on their way, Do you think the 980ti's price will drop a bit once they come out? I mainly chose the MSI R9 390 because for one it edges out the GTX 970, also it's half the cost of a 980ti, and is said to retain its sellvalue a little better than other brands of R9 390's. That being said if the prices do drop I'd sell it for a 980ti down the line. Is this a good plan? Though, the 980ti does perform considerably better than the 390.I would certainly like having it over the 390.

Also, while the NZXT S340 is a nice case, I've heard the window scratches very easily. The gloss surface of the case is great but not my style. I'm just too set on the H440 😛

Again you make a good point about swapping to the H170 board. This certainly help out the cost of the build. With playing only games, and some light design work through some painting/character design software, will the i5-6500 suffice for a few years to come? In games I want 75-100+ fps at just about maxed settings on all games. I want the PC to be quick, and capable of just about anything I throw at it. If I don't need that performance increase the i5-6600k gives then I can most certainly drop the Z170, forget about i5-6600k & put that money into a 980ti when the time is right.

Anyways, thanks a lot for the response. You've given me some needed procrastination to sort out 😀
