Looking for a gaming build that will play most games on mid to high settings mainly skyrim and Civ V

I have monitor and OS and 1TB WD I will salvage form my current PC

I have 1GB GTX 620 on my old pc if you think this is worth keeping for this build I can reuse it.

would like a 240/250 SSD and define R5 case

I live in the U.S

Using such an expensive case, for a budget build, I do not feel is a very good idea. Get the most performance you can, now, and get the fancier case later.

Ok, thanks for the suggestion I might just reuse my cool master mid tower then. also what would you suggest for a PSU?

Not even close. That FX 6350, even overclocked to 4.5ghz, cannot even surpass my older i5 3570k, at its stock 3.4ghz.

That motherboard might need a bios update, in order to work with that CPU. Also, unless you are interested in SLI, a Z87/Z97 board is pointless for a locked CPU. Not all of them support SLI either. You would need a bit bigger of a PSU, to handle SLI. You must also have mail in rebates turned on. Your upfront cost is almost $865.

If you want think you will want a second 970, for SLI.
