Wondering if anyone knows of a website which has more current benchmarks for pc games instead of the ones done at the exact time the game is released.. I was looking at the metal gear v benchmark during release in which the gtx 950 (52fps) outperforms the r9 270x (40fps) by a great deal. I have the 270x and just finished running metal gear v (highest max settings) since updating my processor to eliminate a previous bottleneck and got around an avg 50fps, without dropping below the 40s compared to their benchmarks lowest frame at 32. That's a pretty huge difference of 25%.
Someone made a point the other day about AMD usually not performing as well on the initial test due to updates / drivers that AMD has yet to release for that game. It seems impossible to find current benchmarks of the popular AAA releases. Everything I am finding is from the initial release. This would be helpful for games I might plan to get, but have already been out for a little bit.
