Looking for good gaming monitor!

I'm looking for a gaming monitor that's preferably high resolution. I've never experienced 4K, I have seen 1440p on a Mac/Phone (Retina Display). Although I would rather have higher frame rates rather than unnecessarily high resolutions (though it would be amazing to have a 4K). Other things that I would like to have:
-G Sync Compatibility
-Reliability
-No crazy temperatures
-144 Hz Refresh rate
-Big Screen (No exact but 20-27 in. seems to be a popular choice.)
-Price isn't too big of a deal, just don't go crazy! :)

Haven't read into 4K much but, I've seen the Asus ROG Swift, but I've heard that is not reliable what so ever so I'm reluctant. I haven't seen many good monitors that match my requests (as of now), I've heard that Asus will release new and better monitors in March, I would love if it does because I'm in need of some more options. March is still a ways away though.

Solution
I would go for the ROG Swift primarily because of G-Sync, It would still be hard to get 144 FPS on 1440p but with G-Sync it would be an overall smoother experience. I would also get a single 980 for now, try it out and if you arent happy with the performance your getting then grab a second.
I have an ASUS VG248QE and havent had a single issue with it. The ROG Swift is the only one that I know of that is above 1080p and 144hz. I haven't heard anything about 4k 144hz but the only games you would be able to get that sort of frame rate with on current hardware are older or well optimized indies.

Ok, I might go for a 1080p just because I've either heard REALLY good reviews for it and REALLY bad reviews. Reasons for bad reviews were flickering, terrible anti-glare, horrible contrast, and dead pixels. If anyone's had experience with that monitor I'd appreciate you sharing your experience with it.
