Hello. Will my current PC build will be good for the next 4 years?

i7 3770
gtx 970
8gb ram ddr
500gb hdd
600watts PSU
HP 1080 monitor

I am a hardcore gamer and wants to check if this will be a good build. IF you have any suggestions, feel free to post

I'm going to say no. Your CPU is from 2012 and GPU is from 2014. The system is already old. It might last 2 years maybe but 4 is stretching it a lot. The HDD space is super low, it only has 8GB of RAM... You'll want 16GB or 12GB at the very least. And as for the HDD space 2TB is what you'll want. Some games are already tough to run on the GTX 1080 at 1080p highest settings. Not very many though and high settings alleviates that issue. The CPU is old but still pretty capable so all you might really need to upgrade is the graphics card between those parts and you'll probably be good to go for 4 years. Look at what you're asking of the graphics card. You're not just asking it to last 4 years but really closer to 7 years. The GTX 400 series is now 7 years old. Do you think a GTX 470 is capable of playing everything today? No. It certainly isn't. It's will play some of the newer games fine but others not so much.

GTX 970 is enough for you now.

Wait until you feel it is slow then buy a new PC.

no points in upgrading TODAY. if it will not serve you for 4 ears , it will serve you at least 2 years.
