Looking for good thermal paste

I plan on overclocking and i need a good thermal paste that is better than the thermal paste that comes pre-applied to the CPU. I don't care about budget. I just need a thermal paste that can stand up a little better to the stock thermal paste pre applied to the CPU I want to use. The CPU I want to use for my gaming PC that I want to build will be the either the Intel i5 6600K or i5-7600K depending on which is cheaper

Most pastes will perform within a few C of eachother.
I generally recommend Arctic MX-4, it performs well, cheap, and no cure time.

(Those processors do not come with paste, or a cooler).

I used to use Arctic Silver 5 exclusively. Switched to Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut after a Tom's Review showed it performed slightly better.

You don't need anything better than the std stuff that comes with the cooler.

True, what comes with your cooler will work, but if you want to save like 5C on temps, and don't mind spending $12, the Grizzly Kryonaut is the best choice.
4C savings any of the others Luftj mentioned will do.
