Looking for graphics card solution

I am using AVF gaming power supply with contains 6+2pin for PCI express which is for graphics card...Can I plug that 6pin to my GTX 1050TI that needs 6pin and leave that another 2pin? Will it works as same?

Yes, it will be fine, that's the way it's supposed to work, it's either 6 or 8 pin.
