Looking for help for installaton of DRIVERS & UTILITIES disc for Dell Inspiron 6400

I have just had to reinstall my whole system for the inspiron 6400, but the DRIVERS & UTILITIES disc will not load without instruction from Dell technical support. I can no longer get a technical support contract with Dell because of the age of my computer. Phoning Dell for this support is prohibitive due to cost. Can anyone help?

Forget the disk, your drivers are here http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/Product/inspiron-6400x but I believe you'll need the service packs (at least one and two) if running XP to get the drivers to install correctly (been a while since I restored an old Dell but I seem to recall wrestling with that)
