If you want to upgrade your motherboard you will need one that will be compatible with your CPU. Each motherboard has a specific socket LGA1150 etc. Your CPU is LGA1155.
If you are looking to upgrade in the future you wont be able to get one which is not LGA1155

Yes. If you are looking to upgrade your motherboard I would consider going with an LGA1150 Haswell or LGA1151 Skylake motherboard for future proofing
You would also need to consider a new CPU aswell.

Ok thanks for the help btw should I get 16 gb of ram or 8 and what kind do you recommend? Plus I'm looking for a 120 GB SSD and 1 TB hard Drive and a new case.

8GB is enough but 16GB would be good to have since you want to future proof your system. Battlefield 1 requires 16GB of RAM in its recommended requirements.

Here is a list of parts which go only a bit over your budget but are somewhere in your price range. The motherboard is abit overboard but it is a good motherboard if your looking to over clock and upgrade your CPU.

If you go cheaper with the motherboard you would be able to get a better case and even add in an SSD
