Looking for help to upgrade my computer

Hello, I have no idea how computers work but I want to upgrade mine. Specifically I am looking to upgrade it so it can handle World of Warcraft better (a decent fps at high settings). I have this 2-3 year old computer:

I want to know what I would have to do to upgrade it to play the world of Warcraft game. I am assuming the main thing is changing the graphics card but I am not sure if it would handle a better graphics card, Also being a novice I want to know how easy it is to upgrade it and if it cost effective (or if it is better to buy a new desktop altogether) .

Anyways I would really appreciate if you could be as thorough as possible as in give names of graphics cards I could upgrade to, the prices etc

I looked it up and the graphics card slot is only a PCI-E x16 1.0. Had it been a 2.0 slot I would have reccomended a AMD 7750 graphics card but as it is now I highly reccomend a new build from scratch. Granted, you can TRY the 7750 GPU in your Optiplex and see if it runs the game well but im not sure it will. Edit: I reccomend the 7750 because it's the most powerful GPU on the market that doesnt require a PCI-E power connector, a big plus for the 300 watt PSU in the computer you have now. And it's single slot.

is there a desktop I could buy under say 300-400 dollars that would handle wow better than if I upgraded it to 7750?

Dead you have one major problem with the card you listed. It's not low profile and he has a slim case. So normally I'd recommend something better than a 7750 but that's the best you can put in your computer. This one will work

Alright so all I need to do is upgrade to the 7750 gpu? No new ram or PSU?
