Looking for help with a psu on a new build

I ordered all of the parts I needed for my first computer build everything but my psu has come due to super slow shipping, it may be here by late next week. I want to know if I could use a power supply in an old hp workstation (about 10 years old)I have to at least give it a test boot. I am worried that there may be an issue with voltage or some sort of compatibility. I would only use it for maybe an hour if it is possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, wait for your new PSU to come. Your old PSU probably wouldn't have the proper connections for your new motherboard.
