Heyo Nate2121

The build seems fine, but the motherborad and CPU aren't matching!
Go for a Z170 instead. But since you've got a non-K model CPU, that would be somewhat of waste. Go for H170 or B150 motherboards instead.
If I had to change something it would probably be the PSU. The one you've chosen isn't bad, not at all. But if it was me I'd probably go for the EVGA Supernova 650 G2 instead.
I don't know whether you're a silent freak like me, but an after market CPU cooler "could" be a good add-on, not necessary at all, but a nice little touch :)

Hi True Buie,

Thank you for the response and your help! I decided to stick with everything except I'm changing the motherboard to the H170 Gigabyte LGA1151.

Again, I really appreciate your help with this! It helped me out a lot, also if you think of any upgrades that might be nice please let me know =]

I'm a little confused with the PSU suggestion you had. Does the EVGA Supernova 650 G2 have the after market cpu cooler built in?

The PSU I suggested doesn't have a CPU cooler built in :) I just mentioned the CPU cooler, because you might not like the noise the intel stock makes. It's not necessary at all, since you don't have a k-model.
So if you don't mind the stock intel cooler, don't buy an after market one. No reason to make it more complicated than needed.

Ahh gotchya, I'm not completely sure I understand what a stock intel cooler is so I think I'll just stick to the basics right now =]

Couple things. For a machine that won't ever surpass 175W, I think a 750W power supply is an excessive waste of money. It'll be less efficient and have more waste heat. Plus the EVGA NEX 750B is poor to begin with. That'll need to get changed.

Secondly, just get an H110 motherboard paired with the I5-6500. But really you need to tell us the purpose of the machine.

There's no reason to get a 650W power supply with that system.

Hi Turkey,

I appreciate the response. I will be using it for gaming, homework and everyday things. (not too high end of gaming but I want to be able to run it smoothly and at the best resolution)

Isn't 450 watt pretty standard? I thought with more power going to the video card and other things that it would need to be higher.
