Looking for help with my pioneer xv-dv232

My remote control on my pioneer xv-dv232 is not working, I've replaced the batteries yet no such luck. However I can use the functions on the main device, just none of the remote buttons seem to work.
Please can someone help me, many thanks xx

If it isn't get a replacement remote.
If it does work then the problem is in the main unit.
