Looking for information on an EMPaC computer system?

I’m not sure if I am in the right place for this information. If not, references would be welcome.
My brother sent me a picture of what appears to be a system labeled “EMPaC”. No other information is on the case, and we both have searched exhaustively to no avail. Would anyone happen to have any information at all about this system?

EMPaC Computer was a game publisher in the 90s. That's about all I can find online. Everything else points me towards Experimental Media & Performing Arts Center.

It was probably just some small company that made a few PCs in the 90s

All I can find is that the pc is from the 90s, EMPaC was based in California and made several models over the years but other than some references in old pc mag magazines (via Google books) there isn't much info from that era.

It looks like in of the many clones of an IBM XT, with an added 3.5" disk drive.
