Hi all,
I'm interested in learning about how computers work, from the bottom to the top. I do not have the money or time to go to school for it, so I'm trying to figure it out on my own. Right now I have a decent portion of knowledge about it, but what I really need to figure out is the building blocks of computers in order to connect the knowledge I currently have.
I haven't been able to find a site online that really covers the basics of computer makeup and info. (Well, in non-complicated terms anyways. Most of the stuff I've come across is teaching people that they assume already has a vast knowledge of exactly how computers works, which I'm not 100% on.)
Do you all have any references for me to study to start on the journey of figuring this stuff out? Books or internet, either or.
Edit. You know, I just realized I may have put this in the wrong category? Sorry, I'm new to the site and wasn't really sure what category to place it under.
