I'm going to be upgrading my desktop soon and will be needing a new monitor. Running a 19" Vison Widescreen currently with native resolution of 1440x900, 800:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m² brightness, and both DVI and VGA inputs.

I've narrowed it down to these 2 so far and would like some extra feedback as to which might be better based on community opinions.

Hanns·G HZ251HPB Black 25" 2ms X-Celerate OD 1080P Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 X-Contrast 15,000:1 DCR (800:1 typical) Built-in Speakers $189.99+$8.99 shipping

Asus VE248H Black 24" 1920X1080 2ms Full HD HDMI LED Backlight LCD Monitor w/Speakers 250 cd/m2 10,000,000:1 $219.99+$9.99 shipping

I know the next video card i'm getting will have a HDMI input and also be a 5750.

thanks in advance

i don't really, i just picked 2 that were around the size i wanted and had a good refresh rate, resolution, hdmi. either one is good for me, i'm all for saving money, but i just don't know enough about having an led monitor in this size for this purpose to make a solid choice yet.
