I’m in the market for a new laptop so here is my copy-pasta (note: i’m doing this on mobile and it’s sort of a pain so i apologize in advance for any formatting or grammatical errors)
1. What is your budget?
$1000-$1500
2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
Whatever is standard (14-16 i think?), however, i’m willing to throw in some extra dollars for a 17”
3. What screen resolution do you want?
1080p is enough for me
4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable
5. How much battery life do you need?
6-8 hours would be nice
6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
gaming is an added bonus, see next question
7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
I’m planning to use this laptop mainly for music production (ableton, FL studios, etc)
And DJing (serato, rekordbox) I have a gaming desktop that I built back in 2013 and it was high end at the time. SEE LAST question
8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
At least 1 TB (ssd preferred)
9. If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post their links.

As long as possible
11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
No optical drive needed, just USB ports lol
12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
i like Asus and MSI only because i am familiar with their desktop components. I am clueless when it comes to laptops

I have a gaming desktop and It has been more than enough to run the mentioned programs flawlessly. The specs of my desk top are as follows:
i7 3770K 3.5 GHz
GTX 2060 (yes yes i know, supreme bottleneck)
16GB Ram
Don’t know if that helps
Oh, and i’m not looking for a Macbook
