Hello,

I am replacing a CRT which finally died. I do graphic design work on a MAC (DVI port) with the monitor and color accuracy is very important to me. I am interested in 22" or 24". I am interested in 1920x1200 but can live with 1080p. I have seen the backlight LEDs advertised and like the energy efficiency. Can anyone recommended a monitor around $300 with these features?

Thank you,

-R

Color accuracy is very important for u, so u should go for IPS-panel LCD monitor.. and the viewing angle also is better..

Dont ever buy TN-panel LCD..

Some recommendation(not by me, but according to some reviews) :

1) High budget : NEC LCD2490WUXi2
2) Mid-budget : Dell Ultrasharp U2311H, HP ZR24W

If i'm in ur position, i would go for Dell U2311H..

I can't recommend u of any Samsung LCD monitor as all of it doesn't use IPS-panel technology..
