Could use some help on computer speakers or soundbar plus sub, that could fit under my ultrawide 34'' monitor.
I cannot fit any speakers on sides of monitor due to layout, so I'm stuck with something that can go under monitor, I have 6'' of clearance between desk and monitor, so cannot accomodate something high.
I have a budget of up to $500 for the set.

The pebbles mentioned above are good. If you can tuck a small sub under your desk you can get the 2.1 set for only about $8 more than the pebbles alone.

Bose companion 2.1 sets have very small satellite speakers, but I would buy those used and look for a decent deal.

You can also place normal 2.1 speaker satellites on the side to fit under your monitor.

Most good brands of soundbar are good also, I like the Vizio ones, great sound for the money.

You can't put the speakers behind the monitor?
