Hi!

I'm looking to buy a new keyboard to replace my Asus Strix Tactic Pro and hoping for some recommendations.

Requirements:
  • Mechanical keyboard
  • Wired
  • Including number pad
  • ISO layout
  • RGB Lighting
  • Suitable for both work(programming) and gaming
  • Silent, but usability is more important than silence.
  • Volume Control: Dedicated Button(Mute) and Volume Roller
Any recommendations?

Hi!
I've had Asus Strix TACTIC PRO since 2015, and I think it's time to change.
I'm looking to buy a new keyboard to replace this Asus Tactic Pro keyboard and hoping for some recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical keyboard
  • Wired
  • Including number pad
  • ISO layout(UK)
  • RGB Lighting
  • Suitable for work(programming), surfing on the internet and gaming.
  • Ideally not too loud but usability is more important than silence.
  • Volume Control: Dedicated Button(Mute) and Volume Roller

I have recently seen these keyboards:
  1. Corsair K70 RGB MK.2
  2. Asus ROG Claymore
  3. Fnatic Streak
  4. Das Keyboard 4Q
  5. Razer BlackWidow Elite
  6. Steelseries APEX 7

Price range up to ~270$
Any recommendations from the list or other?

I own the Corsair K70 RGB MK.2 and I absolutely love it. I bought it with Cherry MX Brown switches, they're silent and good for typing as well as gaming. You should go for it 100%.

Unless you actually go try the keyboards there is nothing that will help you past what you read online for reviews and what other people like. You can get 20 different suggestions from 20 different people. I have 4 different brands, models and key types of mechanical keyboards and I would recommend any of them, they all have some benefit.

For quiet mechanical there are not many options, the MX Silent are nice but I think the feel is not as good as others, Browns are a bit easier on the ears than many other switches and you can lower a bit of noise form those using o-rings. I use a Corsair keyboard with MX Silent switches and it is probably my 3rd favorite for key feel but has the lightest typing feel so it's pretty quick. I have a HyperX keyboard with Kailh Silver Speed switches that I like, they are very smooth. I like them a bit better than stock Red switches. Red Speeds are also good.
